Louise was born on a farm in the Outback of Western Australia, one of seven daughters. She was influenced by her mother, who used to make many of the girls' clothes. Being that Louise was the youngest, she was the last in line for all the hand-me-downs, which led to a desire to start making her own clothes.

Louise moved to Los Angeles where she studied at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and earned her degree in Fashion Design. Upon graduation, Louise started her own line, which found its' way into Fred Segal, American Rag and Angel, among other boutiques. She began costume designing for film and videos, and wardrobe styling for magazines and advertising. This led to her current position, that of tailor/designer for various productions, including photo shoots for advertising, editorial and catalog, commercials, TV, tours and film.

With her background in design, Louise has a wide knowledge of fashion and also has the technical skills of fit, patternmaking, draping, construction, tailoring and sewing. Whether it is simply to alter the clothing to fit the model, or to create an entire original garment from scratch within hours, Louise has the experience and expertise.

Currently based in Santa Barbara, Louise travels extensively to locations all over the world with
various clients.
